Comprehensive geotechnical investigations, deep foundation systems, and structural engineering solutions. Fully DPWH-accredited laboratory with strict adherence to ASTM and NSCP standards.
Soil Boring & Standard Penetration Testing
Our comprehensive geotechnical investigation services include soil boring, Standard Penetration Testing (SPT), and undisturbed sampling conducted in strict accordance with ASTM D1586, DPWH Standard Specifications, and NSCP 2015 requirements. We provide accurate subsurface profiles, soil classification, and bearing capacity analysis essential for safe and economical foundation design.
ASTM D1586 compliant SPT with automatic hammer system for accurate N-value determination.
Rotary wash boring and dry sampling methods up to 60+ meters depth.
Thin-walled tube sampling for laboratory strength and consolidation testing.
Signed and sealed geotechnical report valid for building permits and DPWH acceptance.
Cast-In-Situ Reinforced Concrete Piles
Bored Piles (Drilled Shafts) are high-capacity deep foundation elements designed to support heavy structural loads from high-rise buildings, bridges, flyovers, and industrial facilities. In full compliance with NSCP 2015 Section 706 and DPWH Standard Specifications, our bored piling construction utilizes high-torque rotary drilling rigs to excavate large-diameter shafts—typically 600mm to 2000mm+—through various soil strata until competent bearing layer is reached.
As a "replacement" piling method, bored piles generate minimal vibration during installation, making them the preferred foundation solution in urban environments where adjacent structures must be protected from settlement or damage. Each pile is reinforced with steel cages and cast with high-strength concrete, designed specifically for Philippine seismic conditions.
600mm - 2000mm+ for working loads up to 1,500+ tons per pile.
Depth capability exceeding 60 meters with socketing into bedrock.
Static and dynamic load testing to verify design capacity.
Engineered for Seismic Zone 4 requirements per NSCP.
Small-Diameter High-Capacity Foundation
Micro Piles are small-diameter (100mm-300mm), high-performance deep foundation elements composed of high-strength steel reinforcement and cementitious grout. In accordance with NSCP 2015 Section 707 and DPWH Standard Specifications, micropiles derive their load capacity primarily through high bond stress developed between the grout and surrounding soil or rock.
Micropiling is the optimal solution for projects with restricted access, low headroom, or sensitive urban environments. Applications include foundation underpinning, seismic retrofitting of existing structures, slope stabilization, and new construction on difficult terrain. The installation process utilizes compact drilling equipment that can operate where conventional piling rigs cannot access.
100mm - 300mm with working loads up to 100+ tons.
Ideal for strengthening existing foundations against earthquake loads.
Foundation stabilization for settlement-affected structures.
Retention systems for cut slopes and embankments.
Direct Subsurface Exploration
Test Pits (Trial Pits) are an essential direct investigation method that provides visual examination of subsurface soil conditions. Per NSCP 2015 Section 304, test pits are typically excavated to depths of 2.0 to 4.0 meters for shallow foundation investigations, allowing engineers to physically observe soil stratification, groundwater conditions, and potential underground obstructions.
We offer both mechanical excavation using backhoes and manual excavation by hand for sensitive sites with restricted equipment access or proximity to existing utilities. This method provides high-quality bulk and disturbed samples for laboratory classification and is particularly cost-effective for residential, low-rise commercial, and preliminary site assessments.
Direct observation of in-situ soil structure and stratigraphy.
Direct measurement of water table and seepage conditions.
Hand-dug options for restricted access and utility-sensitive areas.
Large-volume samples for compaction and classification testing.
